Tried to use 6 oz of milk with one scoop of protein powder. Put liquidity in first would cut on and cut right back off. Unscrewed the bottom would turn on and run. Fine, hold it out, put plainWater in there. It ran, try to put a scoop in the water. It would not run, you barely touch it with your finger. And it stops the blades. My tooth brush has more power. Update new bottle is much better did notice some time u have to push the button a few time like priming it. The more i use the better it seems to do. Mix at half full then top off and mix again.

When I first opened the package, I noticed no instructions, and turning on the motor barely made any noise. It looked slow, weak, bendable, and I was already thinking this might be a return deal without even testing it. But man, when you turn it ON, that motor does SOMETHING. The water foams fast, and spins like a tornado. I could never get my shakes to not clump, but this thing turns the water into some sort of mad blender. I love it, it’s got me actually liking my shakes now, and I’m super surprised that what I thought was a cheapie shaker is actually such a powerful device. If I had to really, really cherry-pick a complaint, I’d say the bottom is weak enough that you shouldn’t drop the shaker right on it. And not coming with instructions seemed a little strange, even if the product literally has one on/off button and a charging port. But, again, neither of those are super important to the function.

Why some people complain about clumping is beyond me! I use a combination of four tablespoons of mushroom and protein powder. Turn the unit on and then put the powder in. In 15 seconds the powder is perfectly mixed. I have also added a half of mushed up small banana on a second 15 second mix. If the banana is not mushed well enough for the fork it may clump a little but what do you expect with so much in 16 oz’s of water. This is not a blender but a mixer. I recharge after about 20 uses. Still running strong at 20 uses so I have no idea how many full 15 second cycles it will do before it goes completely dead. I’m surprised the auto shut off is not mentioned in the description! For me that is an added benefit. I am nothing but pleased with this mixer.

This works well in mixing powders but since the blades are cheap plastic, do NOT try to mix in any fruit.

I keep them charged & ready beside my mix… I love that they’re able to discretely mix and fluff the shake throughout drinking it, without anyone knowing… it’s annoying watching that guy who keeps shaking his bottle & rattling some mix-ball inside, drawing attention to themselves that they’re on a health kick… These are quick & quiet… they do light up when mixing, but I just explain it away as if it’s alerting me to drink (like the ‘Hydrate’ bottle does)…The internal mixer is plastic, and DOES NOT MIX CRUSHED ICE if it’s even slightly packed together… don’t get me wrong, this is a GREAT LITTLE MIXER, for exactly what it was designed to do- just not really thick or chunky ice.Cleans well.Great design… water sealed charge port…Charged base can screw off like a puck and transfer from cup to cup, or charge alone on the desktop without a cup attached… cup will still stand upright without the battery pack on the bottom.
